Birthday and Max Cape News

Been a while I know. I just had a birthday yesterday and have been busy on Runescape. I have been doing some Woodcutting and Firemaking. I only did bonfires to 83 firemaking. I am going to do Jadinko Lair to 99, it will only take 10 hours. Jadinko Lair is the fastest Firemakign experience in the game. I have no intention of afking skill; I am looking for xp/h. After I get 99 Firemaking, I am going to get the Inferno Adze and do Artic Pines to 99 Woodcutting. I did finish Ritual of the Mahjarrat this past weekend. It took me about 6 hours to do... I don't quest much :P
I am going to do the new quest so that I can get the damage reducing buff for QBD and I will be camping her for a while until I get the full Draconic set. JaGex said that it is different to the regular Dragon Armour set, but the Kite Shield is for the Dragon set. I hope to get at least two of the Kites so that I can sell one. I hope the Kite will sell for a lot in the G.E.
Other than skilling, I have been doing Glacors for cash. Hope to get on later in the week and tell you more.

Babies and Runescape

So my fiancĂ© is having a baby. I am not too sure how to handle this. She is almost 13 weeks in and is due on November 8th. I have yet to even start ROTM, but I did do Nomad's Requiem and it was very easy. I hear people all the time complain that it was so hard to do, but, and I am going to be honest here, it took me less than an hour to do the quest. The Avatar was harder than Nomad himself. And Avatar wasn't even hard, it was just that fact that I play on fixed screen and i couldn't beat him to the roots that heal him. Also it helps a lot that I am max combat, was wearing Ganodermic armour, and had a Steel Titan with me. I also had Overloads, so that made it go by very fast. I mean, "The Firemakers Curse" was a bigger pain in the ass to do. I think for a lot of my dung experience I am going to do the new little "quest" "Thok Your Block Off." It gives you 50k dung EXP every time you do it, which means 5k tokens. that is a dungeon down. And It only takes me about 10-15 minutes to do it, so that is far faster than doing an actual Dungeon. I don't know how I am going to end up playing enough Runescape and also take care of my fiancĂ© and the baby on the way. I might have to stop playing for a while. She is by far my number one priority.

Possible Update Ideas and Herblore.

So, I got 95 Herblore last night and am quite proud. I just need to get another 21m to buy the herbs for the 4k extreme defence potions (they will get me to 96 herblore and also enough of them to get 99 herblore). So that skill will hopefully be done in about three days. Phew! Next is mining... Now for an interesting thing. I have two videos up on my youtube channel "RuneKing324", one is showcasing my Auspicious Katana, the other is it in battle. On my showcase video, someone commented this:
"I found out that "Auspicious" means lucky making with a lucky item, when jagex releases the Easter Lands I think there will be some weapon very similar to this one just like lucky ags has ags and the same stats. Looking foward for it :D
TheKingOfTheHorse"

This got me thinking. Last year at RuneFest, JaGex mentioned that they are developing "Player Owned Ports". So I started to brain storm. I doubt JaGex has any true intention of adding the Eastern Lands in a sense that most people have. I believe that it might, however, be accessible via the POP system.

If it does come into the game though, I think that you should have to start over there. Well, you will still have all your skills and such, but you cannot take items in there, like when you go Dungeoneering, nor can you take them out. It should have it's own quest system, task system and new items. This would make all those people with completionist capes kinda pissed, but I think it would be amazing. Some part of me hopes that JaGex will read this and do it, but they probably won't. Tell me what you think about this. Also, I am about to take on the "Ritual of the Mahjarrat" Quest. I just got the 77 agility that you need to do the quest and am really excited about it. I can't wait to camp at Galcors for hours and rake in the GP's.

I also have been meaning to take on the Fight Kiln and make some money that way, with the speed method. I have been watching a lot of guides on YouTube and have found that Omustardo's speed guide is the best. For those of you who don't know, Omustardo was teh first person to get the Trimmed Completionist's Cape, his in game name is Castle Wars (hope he doesn't mind me mentioning him). But to do that, I will have to get at least 93 dungeoneering so that I can get another Chaotic Rapier and Crossbow. While I am at it I might as well just get the Chaotic Staff for Glacors... For those of you who don't know, I absolutely HATE Dungeoneering. It takes far too long to find a team to take on a dungeon, and when you do get a team; one or two of the people just sit in the Smuggler Room.

I have been meaning to post this, but I have been moving around a lot. So this is about a week or two late.

Buyable EXP and 88k dollars to 200m in all. Dung and other updates!

So Ja-Gex really screwed up with their latest update. I mean really? Buyable EXP? That is really all the damn Squeal Update was. If no one has seen, some people have calculated it and it will cost, on average, $88,370.00 to get all skills to 200M experience. It will, with an estimate on my part, take two-three months of clicking those lamps to get it all. And if you started with a brand new account it will cost you about 15,000 USD to get just regular all 99's with just the 13M EXP needed. That is just dumb. On other news, Ja-Gex planned some nice things for us in legit skilling and Dungeoneering! First off, everyone's most hated skill, RuneCrafting. They have a new Mini-Game that you can play (not released yet) that will give you more RuneCrafting EXP per hour than doing ZMI Altar! I will most certainly be doing that. Oh it is for Non-Members and Members alike, it is just that Members will get access to better Island on the Mini-Game. From what I gathered from the BTS for April (which came a day late...) is that a new wizard has found a portal to a seires of floating islands called the "RuneSpan" inwhich you run around to Obelisks I believe is what it said, and collect their energy. Ja-Gex has said that it will give better EXP than ZMI, so it is worth it. Also, even though I believe it said that it was in the RuneCrafting Altar, you shouldn't need the 50 RuneCrafting to go there.
There is a New quest coming out, not looking forward to that, because I just finished all the quests..., but that will be fun.
Now my favorite update, the Dungeoneering update. They are adding a Tool Belt to Dungeoneering, which might now sound that great to some, but it does to me, who is always needing a hatchet or pick, but has no room. With this Tool Belt you are able to upgrade the items in it, so you could have all Primal items in there if you have the ability to use them. And the best feature is that in the Belt will be a slot for all the keys that you pick up whilst in a dungeon, and everyone in the party is able to use the key! Now me, being 82 Dungeoneering, find this part really helpful. I do party Dungeons to maximize EXP per hour, and we can never remember who has what key and that just wastes about three minutes of everyone looking in their inventory to find the key, then running to the person at the door, and, yeah, the key slot in the Tool Belt is just nice.

Holiday Events are now just a waste of EXP, so I don't do them. I stopped in 2010. Just not cool enough items, and I hate going to my POH to put them away (not much bank space...)

Might Fail

So it is looking like I might have to come back to school next year and get a half credit to graduate, I will have to see what happens. I will talk  to my principal and the guidance office to see if I can do something to get that credit so that I can graduate. Might have to take an independent study. God this sucks... oh well. Hopefully I will be able to graduate on time, but if not...............

Holy Crap

Wow, so I have not done anything with this at all. This is bad... But I will most likely pick this back up.
Throughout the time that I have not posted, I have lost a level 123 account, worked my noob account (level 85 when I started) to max combat and a couple other 99's and gotten most of the quests done on him. Only 12 to go... That can get done within a weekend. Unfortunately I must wait to do Ritual of the Mahjarrat because I don't have the required agility level, can get it from all the quests that I have to finish yet on the quest list. Crafting was done over the BXPW (still cost me half of my bank, 22m). On a sad note, I have lost so much money Mage Boxing, about 200m... so I am walking around with less than 6m cash stack.

But on the best note...
I have obtained the Auspicious Katana from the "Squeal of Fortune"! I am the only person in game to have this item. I have had some people whip out an Ornate Katana from the Membership Game-Card event Ja-Gex had last year trying to say that they too had the Auspicious Katana, but alas, you can tell the difference as plainly as the difference between Rune and Dragon armour.

OH! That last sentence reminds me (sorry for the ADD in this post) the armour updates... Those really brought my tastes in teh game down. Don't get me wrong I don't really have any intention of quitting because of them, but yeah, Rune looks like garbage.

Tell me what you think about these new, released or upcoming updates.
